The standard of the paper did compare favourably with those of the previous years.  While the rubrics were clearly stated, the questions were framed in simple and clear language.  The comprehensiveness of the marking schemes catered for all categories of candidates that sat for the examination.

There is no doubt that candidates’ performance has improved in this paper as compared with the previous years.
