(a) Explain the following as used in vocal music: (i) Colla voce;
(b) State the difference between a chamber choir and a mass choir.
(c) Give the term used for a performance by only one person.
Some of the candidates were able to tackle the (a) and (c) parts of the question by explaining them as required and giving the term as expected.
However, they could not do ‘justice’ to the (b) part which required the knowledge of chamber and mass choir.
