Observation

Most of the candidates that attempted this question performed very well. The candidates were expected to provide the following answers in order to score good marks:

2. - Remove carpets, pictures, mirrors and light fittings.
   
   - Remove small and light furniture.
   
   - Place heavy and bulky furniture in the centre of the room.
   
   - Cover floor and furniture with dustsheets.
   
   - Prepare/make good the surface for coating.
