Candidates' Weakness

The candidates’ weaknesses included their inability to:

  • define artificial respiration;
  • state four principle of artificial respiration;
  • state characteristics of an endomorph;
  • state differences between a pre-game meal and a post-game meal;
  • state differences between muscle pull and muscle cramp;
  • name muscles located in the shoulder;
  • state reasons why it is desirable to engage in physical activities

The following remedies were suggested to overcome the weaknesses:

  • candidates should remedia courses in English language to improve their expression;
  • candidates should be expose to recreational centres, stadia and amusement parks for better understanding of the subject;
  • candidates should use the WAEC syllabus as a guide when preparing for the examination November/December.
