• Poor mathematical representation.

  radioactivity, etc.

• handle computational and numerical problems in physics;
• distinguish between variables e.g heat and temperature;
• define to define terms using the appropriate key words;
• to handle questions that requires drawing.

Based on the observed weaknesses, the Chief Examiners recommended as follows:

• Candidates should prepare adequately before the commencement of the examination.
• Physics teachers should endeavour to put more effort in solving mathematical problems after each lesson.
• Qualified and experienced Physics teachers should be employed
