Observation

This is a question on converting an object drawn in orthographic projection to isometric drawing while maintaining a particular lowest point. The drawing also require drawing an isometric circle.

It was a well attempted question and many of the candidates performed well.

Candidates were expected to do the following:

(i)use isometric axes;                                                                 

(ii)make X the lowest point;                                                       

(iii)draw the correct isometric box  of the required length, width, height;                     

(iv)draw face   A;                                                                        

(v)draw face   B;                                                            

(vi)draw face   C (slot with depth);                                             

(vii)      draw face   D (bevel);                                                
(viii)     draw face   E;                                     
(ix)       draw face   F;                                                             
(x)        draw face   H;                                                            
(xi)       draw face   I;                                                              
(xii)      draw face   J (with depth);                                                     
(xiii)     draw face   K;                                                                                                
(xiv)     draw neatly.
