poor mastery of the keyboard, failure to follow instructions, overtyping.
inconsistence style of display, wrong alignment of figures and margin.
Cedi sign (C) not used, leader dots completely omitted, inconsistent line spacing and punctuation.

(b) Suggested Remedies
The following remedies were suggested toward improving performance of candidates in subsequent examinations:
Adequate and serviceable typewriters should be provided in schools.
Sufficient drilling with the keyboard is necessary before the examination.
qualified teachers should be employed in the teaching of the subject.
The importance of rubric instructions should be emphasized.
