Observation

This task required the candidates to type a given passage within a stipulated time of five   minutes and it should be error-free at the rate of 40 words per minute (wpm).

Majority of the candidates typed the passage to the end.  However, some of the candidates failed to score the 5 marks for speed due to the omission of words, lines and sentences.  There were also typographical errors and poor paragraphing.
