Observation

This task required the candidates to type a given passage within a stipulated time of five minutes and it should be error-free at the rate of 40 words per minute (40WPM).

Majority of the candidates typed the passage to the end.  However, some of the candidates failed to score the full mark as a result of omission, typographical errors, poor paragraphing and the use of eraser.
Candidates should be taught how to acquire speed and accuracy through Graded Speed Drilling.
