Observation

This task required candidates to type memorandum on plain A4 paper in single line-spacing.

Majority of the candidates scored very low marks in this task. Some of the problems were on the use of double-line-spacing instead of single-line-spacing.

Candidates should note the difference between a letter and a memorandum. Marginal and rubric instructions should be taught and drilling exercise should be given to candidates.
