In spite of the obvious weaknesses among the candidates, a few of them manifested strengths in:
- The knowledge of Nok art
An in-depth knowledge of the Nok art tradition was conspicuous in the candidates’ scripts. Most candidates were attracted to the question and they performed creditably in it as most of them earned the maximum available marks on the question.
- Comprehensive responses to question
In the previous years, candidates’ responses to most questions in Visual art were often sketchy and lacked the required details. Contrastingly this time, some candidates responded correctly and comprehensively to questions.
