A unique question which was not attempted. They were expected to respond to the question thus:
1.         DESIGN:      

(i)        Should be unique in form and surface decoration.                                                   
(ii)       Should show the shape/surface decoration of avocado fruit.                                 
(iii)      Compliance with diameter/height specification (20/30cm).                                    

2.         EXECUTION/PROFICIENCY:     

(i)        Skillful representation of form/surface decoration and
good finishing.                                                                                                        
(ii)       Effective embossment of the avocado motif/texture.                                             
(iii)      Appropriate firing.                                                                                                 

3.         COLOUR/FORM:   

(i)        Proper handling of firing processes to produce beautiful colouring effect.           
(ii)       Application of suitable colouration.                                                                         

4.         SUITABILITY:        

(i)        Functionality and attractiveness of the wall planter.                                               
(ii)       Relevance of the design produced.                                                                           

5.         ORIGINALITY:                  
(i)        Uniqueness of form and shape.

6.         NOTES AND WORKING DRAWINGS               

(i)        Clear and comprehensive notes.                                                                               

(ii)       Diagram and working drawings.
