(i) oxidising flame;
(ii) carburising flame.
(b) State one use of each of the following safety wears:
(i) helmet;
(ii) plain goggles;
(iii) respirator.
(c) Name one copper alloy.
Observation
Some of the candidates were not able to correctly sketch oxidising and carburising flames. Most of them could not give neat sketches. The required sketches are shown below.
