Candidates were required to make tee bridle joint.
Few candidates were able to make this joint correctly. However, majority were unable to read the drawing correctly.
Each candidate’s final workpiece was to have socket (2 sides and 1 end) and pin with trenches (4 shoulders, 2 bottoms and fitness of joint) |
