A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

          Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in the following areas:

1. proper interpretation of the working drawing;
2. preparing the test piece to specification;
3. proper use of tools and materials;
4. working within the allotted time.   

SUGGESTED REMEDIES

          To overcome these weaknesses, candidates are hereby advised to:

1. work within the given time and work to specifications;
2. learn to read and interpret working drawing properly;
3. work harder, mostly on the identified weak areas;
4. visit the workshop and practice regularly.
