In terms of standard, objectivity and quality, the paper compared favourably   with those of previous years. The questions were within the scope of the examination syllabus.

The questions were clear, straightforward and lacked any form of ambiguity. The rubrics were clearly stated while the marking scheme was quite elastic enough to accommodate all possible answers. However, there was no noticeable improvement in candidates’ performance when compared with previous years.
