ÀRÒKỌ

Kọ àròkọ tí kò dín ní 300 ẹyọ ọ̀rọ̀ lórí orí-ọ̀rọ̀ kan ṣoṣo tí o bá yàn.

(a) Yunifásítì tí mo fẹ́ lọ.
(b) Ìgbà ìpọ́njú làá mọ̀rẹ́.
(d) Ìjàǹbá kan tó ṣẹlẹ̀ ládùúgbò mi.
(e) Àǹfààní tí ó wà nínú ìwé ìròyìn kíkà.
(ẹ)  Kọ lẹ́tà sí ọ̀rẹ́ rẹ láti gbà á níyànjú nípa àwọn nǹkan tí ó gbọ́dọ̀ ṣe láti gbaradì fún ìdánwò àṣekágbá tí ó ń bọ̀ lọ́nà yìí.

Observation

(a)       This is a descriptive essay on the university the candidate(s) wish to attend. Most of the candidates that attempted this question did fairly well.

(b)      This is an expository essay on: “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. Candidates performed below average in this question.

 (d)      A narrative essay on: An accident that happened in candidates’ area.  Most of the candidates performed fairly well in this question.

(e)       The essay required candidates to extensively discuss “the importance of reading newspapers”. Most of the candidates that attempted this question performed below average.

(ẹ)       An informal letter to a friend counseling him/her on the best ways to prepare properly for the forthcoming final examination. Most of the candidates that attempted this essay did very well.
