CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

The candidates’ weakness was observed in the following:
 

1. lack of inadequate preparation of candidates;
2. lack of proper observation of the items to be drawn. 

SUGGESTED REMEDIES TO OVERCOME CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

1. Art teachers should groom the candidates’ properly in understanding the art language for easy interpretation before answering questions. 
2. The art teachers should mount the objects as described in the instruction to teachers/supervisors.
3. Candidates should practice the art of drawing regularly.
4. Candidates should learn to apply the principles of art in their work.
5. Qualified art teachers should be recruited to teach art.
6. Candidates should be made to visit art galleries and museums.
