Many candidates attempted this question but couldn’t give correct answer in sequence as expected.

The expected answers are:

First aid treatment that would be given to a student who had a severe cut on the leg

• Lie the victim on the ground;
• Apply iodine on the cut;
• Place a sterile dressing/bandage or clean cloth on the cut;
• Apply direct pressure on the cut;
• Raise the leg up above the heart level;
• If blood soaks through the bandage, add more bandages;
• Give analgesic for pain relief;
• Send victim to nearest hospital/doctor.
