Observation

Many candidates got the answer to the question correctly. Some candidates were however not coherent in the presentation of answers and were revolving different answers around eating/overeating.
           
The expected answers are:

Causes of obesity

• Eating more than necessary/overeating
• Hormonal discharge
• Heredity and genetics
• Physical inactivity/sedentary lifestyle/lack of exercise
• Enlargement of the adipose tissues after childbirth
• Eating late at night/irregular eating/eating between meals
• Poor/unbalanced diet
• Poor knowledge of what/when to eat
• Improper medication
• Disease e.g hyperthyroidism
• Culture/food faddism
• Poverty
