In this question, candidates were required to

  1. State the use of each of the following items on a dining table:
  2. place card,
  3. wine list,
  4. napkin.

(bi) List the classes of table service
(bii) Give one example of any one of the classes listed in 2b(i).

List types of spoons used in the service area.

Observation

This question was highly attempted by candidates and they were able to provide correct answers to the different questions. Candidates were able to state the uses of place card, wine list and napkins. The classes of table service such as informal and formal table service; give the example of any one of the classes listed such as Formal table service: - Continental, Cocktail, Luncheon.
