Observation
This was a familiar topic to candidates. They had no problems in answering the question and their performance was above average. Candidates did well in the (a) part of the question as they were able to define what value was as well as how it benefits the society at large thereby making it the integral ingredient of any successful society. Below are some of the highlighted points captured by candidates.
A. Values are accepted moral principles, ideas, beliefs and standard code of behaviour which the society upholds and pass from one generation to another
B. REASONS WHY INTEGRITY IS THE FOUNDATION OF ANY FUNDAMENTAL SOCIETY IN THE WORLD.
- Integrity gives room for good character formation.
- It brings about hard work and commitment to work.
- People of integrity serve as role models to young ones.
- It also brings honour/positive image to individuals and the society at large.
- It makes one to be confident and trustworthy.
- It eradicates corruption in the society.
- It brings about communal development.
- It brings about professionalism and eradicate mediocrity.
