Observation

The passage was based on the qualities of a good teacher. It was quite interesting and offered a familiar subject matter.  Nevertheless, many candidates did not demonstrate an understanding of the passage. They resorted to lifting portions of the passage as answers.

Candidates performed poorly in Question 6(c) which was an inferential question.

The vocabulary test, Question 6(h) was poorly attempted by candidates. They failed to give the synonym of the words.
