OBSERVATION

This question was highly attempted by candidates and they performed very well. It was one of the
strengths exhibited by candidates. Majority of the candidates were able to state the name of   
nutrients and the foods sources of the deficiency disease correctly. However, in 1(c), some
candidates interchange vitamin B3 for pellagra, vitaminB12 for  iron. They were unable to indicate

      the type of fruit for vitamin C/ascorbic acid as well as iodized salt for salt
