In this question, candidates were required to

(a) State effects of advertisement on the consumer.

(b) Outline basic information found on food labels

 

OBSERVATION

Majority of the candidates did not attempt these questions and those that attempted the ‘a’ part performed poorly. They were unable to state the effect of advertisement on the consumer which was to create awareness to consumer about a product, where to find products, how to use the products and the price of a product. However, the (b) part was well attempted by majority of candidates and they answered correctly. The candidates performed very well.
