Many of the candidates did not attempt the question and those who did could not attempt correctly 4(a) interfacing is a layer of fabric applied to a section of the garment to give shape or support.
It can also be described as a layer of fabric sewn between the main garment and facing. They can be found on collar, hem, neckline, hem among others. 4(b). Few candidates got it right while others failed.
The factor includes:
- Type of garment
- width of the fabric
- size of the wearer/ figure type
- style of garment
- pattern design /motifs on fabric
