Candidates' Strengths
Candidates’ strengths were on questions 2, and 3b which were on function of the following during garment construction: (i) Long ruler, (ii) French curve (iii) Pencil (iv) Tape measure, Candidates could define business plan. Majority of them answered the question correctly. They were also able to state correctly the importance of a business plan. Candidates were able to list style features on blouses. On the average, they tried. Many of the candidates were able to state correctly the sources of financing the garment industry. A good number of candidates were able to state the functions of pattern drafting tools such as the long ruler, French curve, pencil and tape measure. Good numbers of candidates were able to mention ways of obtaining pattern in garment making
