Observation
This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was very good. In part (a)(i) candidates correctly identified the device in the diagram as fire extinguisher, in (ii) candidates also identified the parts of the fire extinguisher labelled as X and Y in (iii) candidates correctly name major content of the fire extinguisher and in (iv) candidate also named the hazard that the fire extinguisher is used for. In part (b) candidates correctly named places in which the fire extinguisher could be found. In part (c) candidates correctly state the major function of the device.
