Observation

Candidates were required to define a sentence and give examples of different kinds of sentences.
There was much improvement in candidates’ responses to these questions and majority of the candidates went for it.

The following points were expected:

1. -         Ahịrịokwu bụ mkpụrụokwu ole na ole a haziri n’ezi usoro nke nwere ngwaa na nghọta zuru oke.
   (i)Ọ bụkwa nsokọ mkpụrụokwu na mkpụrụokwu n’ụzọ kwesirinụ nke nwere ngwaa, nwekwaa echiche zuru ezu.

 

(ii)Ọ bụ usorookwu nwere ngwaa na nghọta zuru oke.

 b (i)       Ahịrịnchọ:

-            Ka Chineke gọzie gị.
-            Ya dịrị gị mma.
-            Ka chi foo.

(ii)        Ahịrịnjụ:
-           O bighi ebe a.
-           Ngọzi agaghị akwụkwọ taa.
-           Amaghị m ya.
(iii)Ahịrịnkwe:

1. Ọ bịara n’ụtụtụ.          
2. Esiela m nri.
3. Azara m ụlọ.

(iv) Ahịrịajụjụ:

-           Ọ bịara ụnyaahụ?       
-           Kedu ebe unu bi?
-           I riela nri gị?

(v)          Ahịrịntimiwu:

Bịa ebe a.

Hapụ ya aka ugbu a.

Most candidates who attempted this question only touched the (b) and (c) parts.
