(a) Mr. James Ofosu is the central character in the play, a devoted and caring father and husband,
(b) He loves education and he is ready to invest in his children’s education even though he is half – educated he respects his lawyer friend and confides in him regarding his children’s future career.
(c) James Ofosu is the source of conflict and tension in the play, most especially towards his children.
(d) He appreciates professionalism and wealth through education as he shows towards his Lawyer friend.
(e)James Ofosu is a simple man and takes to correction at last he accepts his children’s choice of professions.
