Observation

This was a popular question. Many of them were able to point out instances of corruption without pointing out the consequences to the characters.

The following points were expected from the candidates:

• The portrayed of Chief Haladu Ade-Amaka as the epitome of corruption.
• The portrayal of his internal collaborators – Madam Hoha, Ochuole and Aloho.
• The portrayal of his external collaborators namely, Commissioner of Police and Justice Odili.
• The positive but feeble attempt to combat corruption championed by ACP Yakubu and Inspector Inaku.
• ‘The Harvest’ that they all reap in court and in Aloho’s case, her very death.

Candidates' performance in this question was fair.
