Observation
Many candidates attempted this question. However, they gave a character sketch of Ogeyi without bringing out how her character affects the development of the theme of corruption in the play.
The following points were expected from the candidates:
• Ogeyi is a university graduate and a born-again Christian
• Her employment as a receptionist at ABC Company and her humility and modest habits.
• Her friendship with Aloho and her kind-heartedness in accommodating her and tolerating her rebellious spirit.
• Her securing justice for Aloho and ensuring the arrest and successful prosecution of the criminal in the book.
Candidates' performance in this question was fair.
