This question was popular among the candidates.  Some of the candidates were able to define production drilling as creation of hole in the rock for  the placement of explosive for blasting. The functions of circulation fluid during drilling were also specified as cleanses the holes, controls the dust, cools the bit, stabilizes hold and retrieves cuttings from the hole.
