In part (a)(i) candidates could not correctly name the equipment illustrated in the diagrams, in (a)(ii) candidates could not correctly mention gymnastic activities which could be performed on the equipment labelled II. In part (b) candidates could not correctly describe backward roll under the following headings: approach, execution and finish. In part (c) candidates correctly mention injuries that can occur during the performance of a vaulting activity in gymnastics. In part (d) candidates correctly list tumbling activities that can be performed without the use of apparatus in gymnastics.
