This question was attempted by many candidates  and candidates’ performance was good. In part (b), some candidates listed the  qualities of a first aider which were not required e.g. sympathy, kindness and  smartness.
                    The expected  answers were as follows:
                    Description of  Mouth-to-Mouth Method of artificial respiration
                    
                    
                      -       Make the environment airy
                        -     Lay casualty down flat on his back
                        -       Kneel down on the side of the casualty close to the head
                        -     Loosen clothes and clear any obstructions  from  mouth and nose
                        -     Tilt the casualty’s head backward 
                        -     Close casualty’s nose and open the mouth  wide
                        -     Take a full breath and place lips well  sealed around mouth of casualty 
                        -     Blow air into the casualty’s mouth
                        -     Remove the mouth and release casualty’s  nose.
