General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were clearly itemized with the rubrics and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was comprehensive and flexible.

The performance of the candidates was better than the previous year with a candidates population of 6,643 which had a raw means score of 61 and standard deviation 11.27, against a raw mean score of 32 and standard deviation of 15.17 for the May/June 2015, WASSCE which had a candidates population 5,951.
