Observation
This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was poor.
In part (a)(i) and (ii) candidates could not correctly mention instances in which the ball is
dead in tennis game they mixed instances in which the ball is dead in tennis game with table
tennis, in (a)(ii) candidates also wrote wrong answers such as players change court after halves,
players change court at their own will or referee’s will and player change court
after resting for two hours.
In part (b) only few candidates performed well, many candidates wrote wrong answers for
differences between tennis game and table tennis game e.g. ball is used in tennis game, egg is
used in table tennis, more than one person each can play tennis, only one person each can
play tennis, during service in tennis game ball must land on server’s count before crossing
to opponent during service in table tennis ball must land on server’s table before crossing over
to opponent.
However, the expected answers are as follows:
