- CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES AND SUGGESTED REMEDIES
The candidates weaknesses include their inability to:
- express themselves in simple tenses;
- master the depth of the subject matter
- poor handwriting
- name events that are performed using anaerobic respiration
- name the substance that causes muscle fatigue during a sporting activity
- state the cause of fainting during a sporting activity
- mention bones that make up the thoracic vertebrae
- state characteristics of force
- state reasosn why the Greek national festivals were established
- explain body movements; flexion and adduction
- state functions of medulla oblongata and cerebrum;
- mention characteristics of muscle
- state the difference between strain and sprain
- describe the procedure for administering first aid to a victim of sprain;
- describe the procedure for administering first aid to a victim of sprain
- list component part of the reflex arc.
The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:
Candidates should:
- English Language teachers should put in more efforts to drill students in tenses and spellings
- subject teachers in physical education should teach the subject term relevant to the subject for easy expression he subject
- Teachers/candidates should update their knowledge through current journals in sports, watching current Olympic game, National Sports festival in their respective countries and visit stadia and amusement parts for improvement
- candidates should improve their handwriting by constant writing.
