Observation

 

Generally, question 2 was widely attempted by many candidates across different centres and it was one of their strengths as they performed well.
In 2 (a), candidates were required to state measures to prevent kitchen pests and they stated correct points such as empty waste container daily, clean / wash all dirty utensils after use, avoid food waste spilling in the kitchen etc.

For 2 (b), candidates were to mention the precautions to take against accidents in the kitchen and they were able to provide correct responses like avoiding high-heeled shoes in the kitchen, mopping spilled liquid up immediately, not littering the floor with dirt such as banana.
