Observation

 

This question was one of the candidates’ weaknesses. In 4 (a), candidates listed some ingredients for making meat balls e.g. salt and pepper but not the chief ingredients as required by the question.

This chief ingredients are those without which a meatball cannot be made and they include meat, flour. They performed worse in 4 (b) where they were unable to state the procedures for making meat balls.

Candidates did not realise that questions that require procedures is not only about knowing the information required but also knowing the sequential processes.
