Candidates were required to
(a)  Explain any three of the following terms as used in clothing and textile:
(i)   wardrobe;
(ii)  patching;
(iii) arrangement of fullness;
(iv) edge finishes;
(v) principles of design.

(b)    Give one example of ant two of the terms explained in 6(a).

(c)    With the aid of two diagrams, show how to attach a facing to the scooped neckline of a front bodice.

Most of the candidates attempted these questions and they performed very well in (av) but for (aii), (aiii), (aiv), (b) and (c) it was a woeful performance.
