Candidates' Weakness

The Chief Examiner reported that the Candidates’ weakness lie on demonstration of practical skills. It was further reported that Candidates were unable to express their practical knowledge using technical terms.


The following remedies were suggested by the Chief Examiner:

  1. Candidates were encouraged to cover all the topics in the syllabus while preparing for the examination
  2. Schools should train their students in real practical situation since Data Processing is a trade subject.
  3. Candidates were advised to improve on their grammar and vocabulary.
  4. Data Processing should be made a compulsory subject to encourage students to learn the subject.
  5. Government and schools should provide Computer laboratory facilities to improve practical skills.
