Candidates' Weakness

The few candidates that did not respond well were found to lack the ability to:

1. use measuring instruments appropriately;
2. make comment appropriately based on available facts. 

Suggested Remedy
The suggested remedies were that candidates should be exposed more to laboratory experiments using the appropriate components and:

1. paying more attention to use of measuring instruments;
2. be taught how to make deductions from experiments performed.
