The Chief Examiner reported that candidates’ performance in this question was very poor.  According to the report, responses from candidates indicated poor understanding of histograms with unequal class boundaries.  Candidates should know that Histograms with unequal class intervals are drawn with frequency density on the vertical axis and class boundaries on the horizontal axis.  Frequency density =  where f = frequency and c = class width
