On a general note, the few candidates who obeyed the rubrics, explained the points raised, presented good diagrams to illustrate their answers, located features at correct points and made orderly presentation of their work  scored very high marks.

It was also observed that candidates performed better in questions relating to their home country than in questions on West Africa and the rest of Africa.
