 State one characteristic each of the following types of teeth in humans:                                                 

(a)  molar;
(b)  Premolar;
(c)  Canine;
(d)  Incisor.

Observation

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was poor.  Candidates stated functions of each type of teeth as the characteristics of each of the types of teeth.

  •                                                                                             

    (d)   CHARACTERISTIC OF INCISOR

  • chisel - shaped
  • sharp cutting edge
  • one short root present
