The diagram below is an illustration of the external structure of a type of worm which infests humans. Study it and answer questions 2 (a), (i), (ii), (b) and (c).

Observation

 

Many candidates attempted this question and their performance was good. In part (a) (i) majority of the candidates were able to name the worm illustrated in the diagram. In part (a) (ii) majority of the candidates could label correctly at least two parts In part (b) some candidates got it,. In part (c) some candidates could correctly state effects the worm illustrated has on humans. In part (d) most of the candidates did well in stating ways of controlling the worm illustrated.
