The paper was of the same standard with those of previous years in terms of wording of the questions, marking schemes and selection of questions in all the three sections of the syllabus. However, candidates’ performance continues to decline generally with the exception of a few ones who demonstrated brilliancy. Those candidates performed exceptionally by providing good answers as well as a measure of originality in the presentation of their points. The performance of candidates improved slightly in paper 1 while paper 2 was a little bit down this year. Generally, candidates’ performance this year declined when compared to last years’ performance.
