Many of the candidates who attempted this question wrote the Surah correctly in Arabic while some of them found the translation and commentary difficult because they could not express themselves very well in English. Some of the points which they failed to mention under the commentary include the fact that the Surah is one of the two chapters of the Qur’an referred to as Ma’ udhatayn which the Muslims are encouraged to recite to seek refuge against the devil;  the need to equip oneself spiritually and that security and protection should be sought from Allah alone. In sum a fair performance was recorded in the question
