OBSERVATION
The relationship between Algernon and Lane is characterized by mutual pretence, deceit and understanding as portrayed in the following incidents:
- The piano incident, the discussion between Lane and Algernon
- The champagne and sandwiches issues
- Algernon’s invention and use of “Bunberying” for which Lane asks no questions etc.
Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was poor.
